A plurality of experiences brought together Torri Lana and Dooor in a unique re-enactment of the textile door as a means of expressing the creative talent of Gianfranco Frattini. Became an iconic design image of the 1960s and introduced within the projects of major Italian and international designers, the textile door is once again a versatile and innovative element for contemporary design. The texture, embellished by the craftsmanship of Torri Lana, is a tribute to the aesthetic and functional research of Frattini, a Milanese designer who was able to best interpret Italian excellence.

The textile door is inspired by the archives of Gianfranco Frattini and his heritage of timeless visions and forms. The textile element represents the sign on which the different creative experiences converge: craftsmanship, design and construction of space. Three apparently distant realities, telling the same story. The loom has always represented a family archetype, the beginning of a story that will be handed down. Once woven, any thread is more like before. In the same way, the line of a textile door is never equal to itself, it moves and marks the space each time with a different rhythm.
The installation, born in the name of the creative synergy of Dooor and Torri Lana inspired by the talent of Gianfranco Frattini, celebrates a common perspective on design. The key to innovation is recognition of the past.
