Our Story
Where the long wave of history merges with the frequencies of the avant-garde, Dooor is born, a project of a young entrepreneur who decides to nurture the experience gained in the company founded by his grandfather in 1962 and specialized in the production of textile doors. The fruit of insights by pioneers of modernist architecture such as Gio Ponti, Gianfranco Frattini, and Joe Colombo, the textile door has represented since the 1950s a solution that “allows space to be segmented without sacrificing the sense of the whole” (Marco Sammicheli). A solution more than ever suited to the needs of contemporary living that today Dooor pushes towards a future of ever-increasing quality, thanks to continuous research and constant dialogue with architects and designers from all over the world.
