Meeting room in Empoli
In the irregular configuration of a meeting room, order is restored by the blue, acoustically isolated volume defined by a system of mobile Dooor partitions. Like a curtain, the doors invite you to enter a world of analogies and figures that refer to the best tradition of Italian pop design. The accents of Ettore Sottsass’s light briarwood alternate with the warm materiality of wood and pink granite. The use of the open or closed textile partition defines an ever-changing space, suitable for different modes of use, accessible through multiple openings with or without handles.
The soft playfulness of the shapes, which also features in the rounded corners of the Dooor partitions, participates in the game of showcasing and showing off and in the main theme of the project that inspired ACQ Studio: theatricality around the product. A professional and playful working atmosphere at the same time, accentuated by the contrast of color and texture between inside and outside and by the succession of light, shadow, reflections.
